Arlington VA — It took three days of nonstop photojournalism to capture all of Guldar & Rashi’s wedding. From the Bride’s Mendhi and the Groom’s Haldi, in addition to both a Sikh and Hindu ceremony we captured so much culture, art, dancing, food, color, and most importantly, family! I learned so much about their culture and we only had 3 days!

On one gorgeous late October afternoon, it served as a beautiful vintage-style backdrop to Nick & Sallie’s Wedding. Lovettsville VA — I absolutely adore DYI Weddings, and Lisa & Nathan’s wedding couldn’t be any better. An intimate ceremony in Dutchman’s Creek Farm included handmade-button-bouquets (made by the bride herself), a gorgeous ceremony & reception in the barn, and square dancing! Meet David & Kathy. They celebrated each of their family’s cultures with each other by having a Chinese Tea Ceremony, A Four-Part Cambodian Ceremony, and an American Ceremony, all in one day! It’s easy to say that’s a lot, but it’s a reflection of how much these two absolutely love each other, in my opinion. There were lots of smiles, tears, and laughter throughout the day. Two of the sweetest were married on this day… and their names were David & Kathy!

Smith Mountain Lake Portraiture: Sunny & Lan-Chi
Quite possibly two of the most colorful people I know, Sunny & Lan-Chi took me down to Smith Mountain Lake & Blacksburg, VA for some engagement photo session fun! We made the 4 hour drive from Arlington to the Lake and then another 1.5 hours to the ‘burg, and captured some incredibly amazing memories.
